Southport Sharks $10,000 Ultimate Holiday Giveaway
- The promotion commences on Monday November 14 2011, and concludes at 7.30pm on Saturday February 25, 2012.
- To be entered into the weekly prize draw you must join or renew your 2012 Southport Sharks membership within the promotion dates.
- All financial 2012 members are instantly placed into the draw.
- All 2011 financial members will receive a bonus entry ticket via mail prior to the promotion period. To be eligible for the bonus draw entrants must be 2012 financial members.
- Persons must be 18 years and over to become a Sharks member and therefore, to enter the promotion.
- Staff, club contractors, and members of the board are not permitted to enter.
- One (1) finalist will be drawn from the barrel on seven (7) selected Thursdays in January and February 2012, gaining a total of seven (7) finalists who will be in the running to win the major prize. These draws will take place from 6.45pm on Thursday 5th January, 12th January, 19th January, 26th January, 2nd February, 9th February, 16th February.
- A BONUS draw will be conducted on Thursday 23rd January 2012, with the final finalist being drawn from the barrel.
- Finalists will be contacted by phone or mail, and invited to attend the major prize draw night. They must provide sufficient photo identification to qualify to attend the final draw night. Finalists may request that another nominated person represents them on the night if they are unable to attend – this request must be provided in writing and approved by the Southport Sharks.
- The major prize will be drawn from 7.30pm on Saturday 25th February, 2012.
- On this date, one finalist’s name will be drawn at random from the barrel and asked to select one of the ‘suitcases’ (or similar device) from the stage. Once all finalists have been drawn and selected their suitcase, they will be asked one-by-one to open their suitcase to see if the major prize is inside.
- The finalist who selects the winning suitcase will win a cheque for $10,000.
- Finalists that do not win the grand prize will win one of 7 selected travel prizes ranging from $200 to $2000 in value. All other details and conditions of prizes are at the discretion of Southport Sharks.
- The Southport Sharks’ decision as to the result of the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering the competition, the contestants’ consent to their names and/or photographs being published within Southport Sharks’ marketing collateral.
