SWIM CLUB
The Southport Sharks has it's own swim club that swims every Sunday from early October until mid April at St Hilda’s Girls School pool (Whitby Street entrance) commencing at 8:30 am.
You don’t have to be a champion swimmer to be a member. Participation is on a handicap basis, similar to how golf is played, and therefore everyone is competitive. For the more competitive swimmers there are always the open events to compete and these are for all age groups not just the ‘young guns’. There is family atmosphere to the club and a lot of social interaction. New swimmers are always wanted and welcome. |
