SHARKS GOLD TERMS & CONDITIONS
Participation in the “Sharks Gold” reward trade promotion is open to all financial members of the Southport Australian Rules Football Club Ltd and the following terms and conditions apply:
- “Sharks Gold” reward points may be earned by the playing of SAFC gaming machines and in the purchase of select goods and services sold by the Club,
- Club policy prohibits membership cards being lent or borrowed by other persons in order to receive points or gain other benefits under the “Sharks Gold” rewards promotional scheme,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club reserves the right to alter the “Sharks Gold” rewards points accumulation ratio at its sole discretion, and without notice,
- It is a Club member’s responsibility to secure their membership card and any fraudulent negotiation of reward points from a stolen or lost membership card will not be the responsibility of the Club,
- Reward points earned by one member are not transferable to another member,
- Club members may use their accumulated reward points to purchase select goods and services sold by the Club (not FUNCTIONS), whereby the purchase is solely made with Sharks Gold rewards points. No part cash OR part points’ purchases will be allowable.
- Club members may elect to convert their rewards points for cash. Should a member wish to convert reward points for cash, the following conditions apply –
- The member may only convert his/her rewards points to cash where the balance of such points totals 500 points ($5.00) or more, being available in the member’s account,
- The member in converting his/her reward points for cash may, on any one trading day, convert a maximum of 20,000 (twenty thousand) points ($200.00),
- When converting rewards points for cash the member must produce his/her Club membership card as well as photograph identification, or other evidence of identification acceptable to the Southport Australian Rules Football Club, and may be asked to quote his/her date of birth for verification,
- The member may only convert his/her rewards points to cash in increments of 100 (one hundred) points ($1.00 amounts, whole dollars).
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club is not responsible and will accept no liability for misuse of lost or stolen cards or card failure to which “Sharks Gold” rewards points fail to accrue,
- “Sharks Gold” rewards points will be accrued until the close of trading on 30 September annually. Points not used by this date will be deleted and purged. From the commencement of trading on 1 October annually, all “Sharks Gold” points accounts will have a balance of 0 (zero) points,
- The basis upon which a member may accrue “Sharks Gold” rewards points is determined solely by the Southport Australian Rules Football Club and is subject to change without prior notice to members,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club will not be liable in any way in relation to the unavailability of “Sharks Gold” rewards points of any description which fail to accrue as a result of a malfunction, operator fault, misrepresentation or any other reason beyond the knowledge or control of Southport Australian Rules Football Club,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club has no obligation to make available to members “Sharks Gold” rewards points that fail to accrue,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club reserves the right to change or amend the rate at which “Sharks Gold” rewards points are accrued,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club may suspend or cease operation of the “Sharks Gold” reward promotion at any time without notice. If so, members have thirty (30) days from the date of the suspension or cessation to redeem all accrued “Sharks Gold” rewards points. Any points not redeemed within said 30 (thirty) day period will be cancelled and purged,
- All decisions pertaining to “Sharks Gold” rewards points, by the Southport Australian Rules Football Club, are final and no correspondence will be entered into,
- “Sharks Gold” rewards points are based on levels of points earned. Three levels of reward categories may operate; Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby. Each such level of reward status will feature varying levels of benefits,
- “Sharks Gold” rewards points are based on a member’s goods and services purchases and gaming machine play. A member’s status of reward category will be reviewed periodically by the Southport Australian Rules Football Club,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club reserves the right to change criteria for reward category levels and determine the maximum number of members per level,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club reserves the right to change a member’s status of reward category level at any time without prior notice,
- Employees of the Southport Australian Rules Football Club who are also financial members of the Southport Australian Rules Football Club are eligible to accrue and redeem “Sharks Gold” rewards points in their own time, in accordance with the Staff Handbook and Club policies relating to employee participation in Club promotions,
- Directors of the Southport Australian Football Club are ineligible to accrue or redeem “Sharks Gold” rewards points,
- Southport Australian Rules Football Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice,
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the state of Queensland, and shall be enforced in conjunction with the membership policies of the Southport Australian Rules Football Club.
